About Me

  • Education: Winter Park High School, class of 2003. Went to Stetson University with Presidential Scholarship 2003-2004, planning to get a degree in business. Left Stetson at the end of 2004, and began working on an Associate of Science degree for Horticulture at Valencia College, in Central Florida. Courses included Plant Pathology, and Greenhouse Management. Changed degree paths to pursue further education, by earning an Associate of Arts degree (required to transfer to University of Florida) in Horticulture from Valencia, graduating in 2006. Attended University of Florida, earning my Bachelor of Horticultural Science degree, 2009. Courses for an A.S. degree at Valencia, such as Introduction to Horticulture, Plant Pathology, and Plant ID, weren't credited at UF, even though I got "A's", so I took them again, reinforcing knowledge. Courses at UF included Field Techniques in Integrated Pest Management, Advanced Organic and Sustainable Vegetable Production, Plant Physiology I and II, Entomology, Plant Propagation, and Micropropagation.

  • 2010-2013, ran crop consulting company 'Connoisseur Crop Solutions' in Summit County, Colorado. Helped Breakwater Treatment and Wellness win a grow/dispensary license for central New Jersey. Worked with Breakwater's president to layout the facility plans and mechanical designs. Consulted with growers in Colorado, solving pest and disease issues, and improving crop growth. Continued growing cannabis for personal use. Wrote article "Integrated Pest Management: Thrips" for High Times Magazine, July 2011 issue.

  • 2014, began working as the Head Grower of Breakwater Treatment and Wellness, in Cranbury, NJ. Breakwater became NJ's most reputable dispensary. The state required all cannabis we sold to be grown by Breakwater (i.e. by me).

  • October 2018, left Breakwater to move home to Florida, and start Cannabis Crop Solutions, LLC.
